Festive Christmas Card Designs – Mistletoe Kisses and Angus

It’s that time of the year again when LL Creations release their new Luxury Christmas card designs for the festive season.

Helping you to send fabulous and unique Christmas greetings to your nearest and dearest, that can be treasured for years to come.

This year I’ve introduced two new personalised Luxury Christmas Card designs - Mistletoe Kisses and Angus. So in this blog we will be taking a little looksee at these new keepsake Christmas cards

Mistletoe Kisses – Luxury Christmas Card

However this tradition came about for kissing under the mistletoe, we love the idea that mistletoe is considered a symbol of both luck, peace and love throughout different customs and cultures in both ancient and modern times.

So really what better festive greenery to feature on a Christmas card for your loved one, and so came about the idea for design Mistletoe Kisses, and hey, whatever works to get a whopping snog from your special someone!

Mistletoe Kisses - Personalised Luxury Boxed Christmas Card

I wanted to keep to traditional Christmas colours so opted to use red, gold, green and a touch of white. To add to the festive romance I decided the mistletoe should be displayed above a heart. Each heart is handstitched with metallic gold thread which creates a lovely frame for both the heart and mistletoe.. and as traditionally mistletoe would be hung, both the heart and mistletoe are suspended from ribbon, to appear to be hanging.

To complete this Christmas card design I added gold handmade paper, ribbon, gold bells, crystals and printed flourishes. Each mistletoe berry (female mistletoe has the berries!) is represented by a pearl cabochons

Angus - Luxury Christmas Card

Ever wondered what a festive Highland Cow would look like?

Well wonder no more...as I introduce to you to Angus, the rather handsome and festively
decorated Highland Cow.

I'm so excited by this new personalised luxury Christmas card design, which is both quirky and festive, and perfect for both gents and ladies. I had so much fun designing and creating him, especially as part of my highland cow project (thats for another blog). Which has me slightly highland cow obsessed! I honestly can’t get enough of them!

Again I used traditional Christmas colours on Angus with the addition of some festive plaid….another recent obsession of mine… tartan and plaid..win, win!

But I do LOVE him so much with all his little details and I know every time I make one I won’t want to part with him! But worry not, should you place an order for him I will let him leave the studio (begrudgingly! ?)

As with all my luxury boxed card designs all are handmade to order and personalised with your own special greeting and message. They come wrapped within a beautifully hand decorated gift box and are embellished with crystals and pearl cabochons from Swarovski ®
